Re: Error using Dialogues System Saver and Easy Save

From that stack trace I can see that one of the variables you're saving (or a field of that variable) is a GameObject, and the issue is occurring when attempting to load one of it's Components. Specifically it looks like you might be trying to save a PlayMakerFsm Component, which isn't serializable ...

Re: easy save store bug

Hi there, We don't appear to have received any reports of behaviour like this when using caching apart from if a crash occurs with the app, meaning that any data stored to the cache since the last time you called ES3.StoreCachedFile() will be lost (this is expected behaviour). In this case I recomme...

Re: Error using Dialogues System Saver and Easy Save

You can find information on what types are supported (and by extension what types aren't supported) here: https://docs.moodkie.com/easy-save-3/es3-supported-types/ The biggest issue is usually when people save Components which aren't supported, or GameObjects with Components which aren't supported. ...

Re: Error using Dialogues System Saver and Easy Save

Hi there,

Glad that helped you resolve the issue. It indeed sounds like you were saving something which wasn't serializable at runtime.

All the best,

Re: Encryption

Hi there, Not storing your password locally, but instead retrieving it from a server and linking it with a user account with a unique, random password for each user. This would require you to integrate a login system and also store an additional password with the login system to use for encryption a...

Re: Error using Dialogues System Saver and Easy Save

Hi there, This error doesn't appear to be getting thrown from our action, so it's not possible for me to say what is happening. Are you sure that all of your FSM variables are serializable at runtime? Generally if you just want to save the FSM string you should just save that, rather than saving eve...

Re: Error using Dialogues System Saver and Easy Save

Hi there,

Please could you show me the full stack trace of the exception you're getting?

Note that as we have no experience with Dialogue System or Ultimate Inventory System we can't provide specific advice for them.

All the best,
Joel

Re: Encryption

Hi there, If someone has cracked the encryption on your save data then it will be because they're reverse engineered your app to discover the password rather than because they've brute forced the password. For example: As shown above, even with a supercomputer, it would take 1 billion billion years ...

Re: Weird System.IO.IOException in code that has run great for months

Hi there, I've had no reports of this happening when it's not been some sort of anti-virus or cloud software, or two FSMs are trying to save data to the same file concurrently. Please could you replicate this in a new project with a simple scene and send me a link to it on moodkie.com/contact so I c...
