Null Reference on Import

Null Reference on Import

When importing the asset from the asset store browser within Unity, I receive the following error:

NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Also, when trying to update the menu available at "Window > Easy Save 3..." all fields revert back to their original value and throw this error:

Besides those problems, it is saving and loading correctly. Both of these problems occur in Unity 2019.3.0a7 Personal, only the second occurs in Unity 2020.1.0a11 Personal. I'm running OSX Mojave.

Hi there,

Unfortunately we cannot support alpha builds of Unity as they're known to be very unstable. With regards to the Easy Save 3 window not saving this value, this will almost definitely be an issue at Unity's end, so I would recommend reporting this to them.

Regarding your first issue, would you be able to see if you can replicate this in a stable version version of Unity? If so, please could you PM this to me?

Both of these problems, as you suspected, are resolved in a newer version of Unity. 2020.1.0a15.1847 Personal runs it perfectly. 8-)
