System.OverflowException: - Loading Texture problem

Post by nFighter »

Hey! I made a little tweak to mentioned in this topic https://moodkie.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1842 and somehow my project stop loading texture from files.
I revert this tweak back after removing autoadd saving manager from scene, but the error still persists.

EDIT. Well, new files can be saved\loaded without problems, but the old files I create before - drop this error. At the same time, the previous game build I made yesterday - can read from both old&new files.

My file with texture is around 70-80kb size. Build I made before this tweak reads these files easily. I'm using a playmaker action Load with these settings:

and got an error:

Code: Select all

System.OverflowException: Value was either too large or too small for an Int32.

Hi there,

The change you mentioned shouldn't have any effect on the actual saving code because it only relates to when the editor stores the settings.

The most common cause of the error you're getting is because you've previously saved a texture, but since saving it the texture format has changed, so the save data is no longer in the correct configuration for that texture format. In this case deleting your old save data will resolve the issue.

All the best.

Well, it's quite a strange bug because literally nothing was changed in the project, but in one night it stop reading the yestarday files. So yesterday build is reading both kinds of files but the same project today works only with the freshest save. Not a problem, of course, but such mysteries makes me nervous
