How can I get Encryption Password?

Hi Joel.

I have already released the game to Steam.
Sometime, some users reported me that they cant load save data.

error is this:
CryptographicException: Bad PKCS7 padding. Invalid length 0....

I've never changed my Encryption Password. But Password isnt match...

I have users SaveData.es3, Is it possible to know that Encryption Password in users SaveData.es3 ?

Hi there,

It's not possible to get the encryption password from a file, otherwise this would be insecure.

This error can also occur if the data has been tampered with, or if the file has been modified or not downloaded in full (for example, if a cloud service has failed to download it properly).

If the password has been changed and you don't have the original password, or if the encrypted data is corrupted, it is not possible to retrieve it.
