Poor Performance of Edit ES3 Type Script Button

I'm referencing the button under the "Types" tab in the manager. Most of time, I have to click it then switch to visual studio and open the script I am editing to let the change take effect, otherwise it would not work. After frequent editing using this button, it also lags my computer and sometimes crashing unity or visual studio. Any solution? I'm on Unity 2019.4.9f1

Hi there, and thanks for getting in contact.

I've had no other reports of this. However, all the 'Edit ES3Type script' button does is open the script in the default script editor using Unity's API, so if this is causing slow down then it's likely to be an issue at Unity's end.

If you private message me your invoice number I can send you a version which uses a slightly different method of opening the file to see if this makes a difference. Alternatively you can open the file directly from the Assets/Easy Save 3/Types/ folder.

All the best,
Joel
