Using ES2's Web Functionality on Amazon AWS with Ubuntu

Post by Joel »

Hi all,

I've just spoken to a helpful user of Easy Save 2, who has provided us with some instructions to make the var/www/html folder accessible in Amazon AWS running Ubuntu so you can place the ES2.php file there.
I'm using Amazon AWS services. Running Ubuntu Server 14.04.

By using this on SSH:

sudo chown -R ubuntu /var/www/html

to give root user (ubuntu) permission to write to the html folder

Then using filezilla, connecting to public dns, and using key pair... I transfered the ES2.PHP file over to var/www/html directory
Hopefully this will be of use to some people who intend on using Easy Save with AWS/Ubuntu.

All the best,
Joel
