Hi there,
I've made a search for this, but I wasn't lucky enough.
Anyway, I have a custom script with lots of public properties, attached to a NPC prefab. It's intended to be the central repository of each instanced character in the game, so I need to save those properties in some way.
Also, I'm using Playmaker and I don't really intend to delve into proper coding to do this.
The first thing I've done is to create a custom ES3Type with the help of the wizard, and now I see it under /EasySave3/Types.
However, when I go to my "SaveLoad" FSM and try to use the Save action and select the NPCStats ES3Type... I don't see on the list of supported types:
Do I need to modify the action to include the custom type in that dropdown list? What am I doing wrong? Is this even possible?
Thank you.
Custom ES3Type + Playmaker save/load
Re: Custom ES3Type + Playmaker save/load
Hi there,
To choose a custom type in Playmaker you need to select 'Object' in the list.
All the best,
Joel
