Importing a premade CSV into unity/playmaker

Post by uk_resistant »

To Mookie,

I am trying to use a pre-made CSV (in this case made in Google sheets and downloaded as a .CSV within the Unity project) and then to use that as a basis to save cells to and eventually overwrite.
However, I cant seem to work out how to do this, instead, I can only find a way to create a CSV from scratch and then overwrite that.

Could you give me a quick rundown of how this might work?

Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

You could put a CSV in a Unity Resources folder and load from there. Information on using Easy Save to load from Unity’s Resources folder can be found here:

Thanks for the quick reply!

The above looks great but do you have any idea what the Playmaker version of that looks like?

Thanks!

Hi there,

You would set the save location to Resources in the Load action's settings.
